He was predeceased by: his parents, Veronica Grund and Walter Grund; his son Thomas Grund; his brother Richard Grund; his brother-in-law John Canning; and his former wives, Angelina Grund and Terri Grund.
He is survived by: his son Daniel (Elizabeth); his daughter-in-law Ann Marie (Thomas); his grandchildren, Brittney, Chase (Athena), Justin, Kayla, Ariana, Peyton, Travis and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Kaia, Tatum, Callan, Maureen Harvey and Walter; his siblings, Marilyn Canning (John Canning), David Grund (Linda Grund) and Camille Grund (Richard Grund); and his son Michael Grund (Michael Ann).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation in Honor of his sons Michael Grund and Thomas Grund or Hospice who was instrumental in keeping Walter comfortable and peaceful in his final days.
