She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Zimmard and Amelia Zimmard; and her husband Harold Merker. She is survived by: her children, Michael, Robin Merker of Stuart, FL, Nancy, Bryan Grover of Bristol, CT, Nicki and Bernard McGrane of Hillsdale, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Amy, David Truckenbrodt, Brandon Grover, Tia Lorancaitis, Sarah Merker, Rachel Merker, Marissa McGrane and BJ McGrane.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beth Moses Cemetery (1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704).
