He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank and Margaret; his wife Erna Friedel (Harmeyer); his children, Jeffrey Friedel (Virginia), Barbara Tria (Vincent), Steven Friedel (Alison) and Elizabeth Roberts (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Molly Friedel, Abigail Friedel, Liam Friedel, Noah Friedel, Andy Tria, James Tria, Halsey Friedel, Shelby Friedel, Eliot Roberts, Winston Roberts and Elyse Roberts; his sisters, Joan Macfarlane and Carol Irwin; and also Margaret Friedel (Cass).
