It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reta I. Andrus (Stuart, Florida), born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Reta is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Reta's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her sister Ramona; her parents, William Filyk and Maggie Filyk; her husband Ted; and her pet Keesha Marie.

She is survived by: her sisters, Sylvia Crompton and Gloria Filyk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations are requested to be made to: Treasure Coast Hospice Center, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997, in memory of Reta Andrus.

“We are so sorry to see that Reta Passed. In the wake of the hurricane's I was trying to get ahold of her to find out if we could help heras we visit her yearly when we are in Florida in the winter months. Our winter visits have always been so joyful. We will miss her. She was such a sweet person. I was going to try and contact her nephew at Dos Amigos to see if he knew what was happening. Not responding to her phone and my email I checked here and found this. Sincerely Steve/Sylvia Benser”
