He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Galdys and Louise Galdys; his brother Philip; his brother-in-law John Vento; and his nephew John Vento.

He is survived by: his wife Marie; his sons, Philip (Susan) of Stuart and Michael (Lauren) of Palm City, Florida.; his grandchildren, Andrew, Mason Galdys and Madison Brennan; and his sister Diane Vento. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
