He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Banner and Velma Banner (Gill); and his wife Bonnie Bramsen. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra (Scott Ackermann) and Darci Banner of Stuart, Florida; his grandchildren, James J. "Jamie" Schmidt, Jenkin J. Banner-Schmidt, Shay Banner and Ryleigh Banner; and his sister Twyla (Paul Webb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
