It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Shumaker Hebb of Stuart, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Walter Hebb; and her siblings, Jane Elizabeth "Betsy" Peterson and James Shumaker. She is survived by: her children, John Walter "Jack" Hebb, Jr., Harold Joseph Hebb "Joe", Katherine Louise Erickson, Rebecca Arlene Hartman and Margaret Elizabeth Jones; and her sister Barbara Warner.
