He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Gordon Wormwood and Irene Gerow Wormwood; and his former wife Viola Hatch Wormwood. He is survived by: his wife Joan Gatz Tope Wormwood; his children, Susan Forsley and Walter Wormwood (Mary); his stepchildren, Donna Smith (Mark Kent) and Patrick Smith; and his grandchildren, Katherin Wormwood (Joseph Freeman), Curtis Forsley, Andrew Wormwood and Gunnar Smith.
