He was predeceased by: his son Larry Young. He is survived by: his brother Wilbert Beard; and his children, Roberta Bailey and Toniya Coles. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
To honor Carl's memory, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to his daughter Toniya Coles' non-profit organization, No Child Left Hungry.
