He was predeceased by: his parents, James Weyman Sr. and Lenora Jones Swilley; his siblings, Nora Swilley Stephens and William Swilley (Bill); his nephew Charles Swilley (Chuck); and his brother-in-law Garry McGlamery.
He is survived by: his children, James Weyman Swilley (Tripp), Valerie Brooke Swilley Howell (Yancey) of Pelham and Cameron Burch Swilley (Morgan) of Newton; his grandchildren, Savannah Swilley Griner (Josh) of Pelham, Zachary Terrell Howell of Statesboro, Alyssa Karsyn Howell of Statesboro, James Wesley Swilley of Pelham and Crow Rex Swilley of Newton; his great grandchild Annaleigh Griner of Pelham; his siblings, Rose Ann McGlamery of Cobb and Charles Swilley (Debra) of Newton, AL; his siblings-in-law, Tommy Stephens of Cobb and Becky Swilley Morrell (Steve); and his close friend Thunder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home (176 Hand Ave W, Pelham, GA 31779).
