She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie McGovern and Nellie McGovern; and her son Gregory Michael "Chopper" Smyrnios. She is survived by: her children, Dale Morris Smyrnios of Steinhatchee and Thedessa Lorraine Davis of Steinhatchee; and her sister Kay Cenbuch (Jon) of Lake City. She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
