He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Barnett and Thelma Barnett; and his sister Sandra Woody. He is survived by: his wife Christine "Tina" Barnett; and his children, Valerie Tillman (Billy), Tina Summers, Jennifer McKinzie (Jerry), Chris Barnett and Ray Barnett. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and other extended family.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Waters Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
