Shan Edwards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shan Edwards (Starke, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 64. Though Shan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Edwards and Velmarie Edwards (Dukes); and her granddaughter Elin DeGuzman. She is survived by: her daughters, Parecia Leigh Johns of Melrose, FL and Brittany Johns of Milford, OH; her grandchildren, Micah Wright, Paecyn DeGuzman and Charley Johns; her great grandchildren, Silas and Kenji Wright; her sister Rhonda; and her brother-in-law Brian Pulling of Lakeland, FL.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel (620 Nona St, Starke, FL 32091). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
