He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Starling Griffis of Starke, FL; his children, Jessie V. Griffis, Jr. of Brunswick, GA, Barbara Ann Griffis of Chicago, IL, Shonda Harvey of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Marie Griffis of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Zelda Rose, Nolan, Aubree, Rylee, Jason, J. T., Jeffery and Mandy; and his siblings, Johnnie Griffis of Raiford, FL, Mitchell Tillman of Lawtey, FL, Leon Tillman of Middleburg, FL, Janet Lorraine Sweat of Gainesville, FL and Evelyn June Crews of Starke, FL. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
