He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Lee (McCaskill) and Franklin Holmes Bloodworth; his sister Annette; and his son-in-law Col. Thomas E. Busby. He is survived by: his wife Betty Joan Brandon; his daughters, Ellen Flynn (Reggie) of Starke and Carol Busby of Oviedo; and his grandchildren, Adam Roberts, Thomas Busby, John Busby and Patrick Busby (Ave). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
