He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin L Lawson and Sarah Lawson (Welch); and his siblings, Henry Lawson, Pamela Dyal and Sally Groves.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lawson (Cogdill) of Starke; his daughters, Cindy Hildebran (Dan) of Starke, Lisa Sasser (Jason) of Pace and Tricia Clark (Johnnie) of Starke; his brother Marvin "Sonny" Lawson of Starke; and his grandchildren, Hilary Arcuri (Tony), Tyler Hildebran (Ashley), Hannah Reddish (Kevin), Clint Collins, Chelsey Collins, Abbie Tucker (Cory), John Clark (Laci) and Karen Hall (David).
