She was predeceased by: her father Willis Thornton; and her brothers, Robert Thornton and William Thornton. She is survived by: her husband Walter Kraus of Starke; her children, Dennis Starling of Starke, Loretta Lucas (Joe) of Lake City and Howard Starling (Joy) of Starke; her stepchildren, Troy Kraus (Lori) of Maryland and Melissa Jones (Casey) of Yulee; and her brother Pete Thornton (Susan) of Hampton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
