He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor Scott and Jeruthea Bell Willis Scott; his wife Kitty Nelle Thompson Scott; his brothers, William "Lamar" Scott and Franklin Eugene Scott; his son-in-law Ronnie Lane; his brothers-in-law, Ray Black and Bobby Sells; his nephew Michael Scott; his grandchildren, Robert Vester and Brandy Taylor; and his great grandchild Shawn Bailes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Vester (Robin) of Waldo, FL, Marsha Lane of Waldo, FL, Betty Slater of Ocala, FL and Patricia Twiford (Huck) of Starke, FL; and his sisters, Marilyn Black of Ashburn, GA and Carolyn Sells of Leesburg, GA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; 1 great-great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; and his extended family.
