She was predeceased by: her father Chaplain Leonard Thomas (Major); her sister Robin Melton Hickey; her niece Sabrina Williams; her grandparents, Jesse, Louise Messer, Lonnie and Norma Melton; and her granddaughter June Mattox.
She is survived by: her family, Kyle and Kendra Mattox; her mother Katherine Melton; and her brother Jonathan (Jonboy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Sampson City (13797 SW Co Rd 227, Starke, FL 32091). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Starke, Florida, where Celeste's daddy served faithfully as pastor for many years.
