With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Ray Nix of Starke, Florida, born in Robertsdale, Alabama, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Burns Nix; his parents, James Nix and Cora Nix; and his sister Hazel Jimenez. He is survived by: his children, Arthur Nix (Julia) of St. Petersburg, Sheila Nix of Long Beach and Jennifer Vaughan (Terry) of Starke; his grandsons, Justin, Stephen, Graham, William and Michael; his brothers, James and Nolan Nix; and his great grandchild Emma Nix. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
