He was predeceased by: his father Perry Trombley; his stepfather Samuel Gamble Sr.; his mother Bernice Winterfeld; his brothers, Edward Trombley and Samuel Gamble Jr.; his brother-in-law Edward Linsday; and his sisters, Deanna Gamble and Sandra Gamble.
He is survived by: his children, Cari Spears, Nicole Trombley-Briggs (David) and Stacey Trombley; his grandchildren, Jeri Lynn, Tyler Spears, Lawrence, Jeremy, Alexander Briggs, Rebecca and Zhachary Butler; his great grandchildren, Drew Cormier, Novaleigh Briggs and Caden Briggs; and his siblings, Cecelia Merrill (Charles), Mildred Linsday, Dorothy Noffsinger (Jerry) and Richard Gamble (Penny).
