He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Edgar Holt and Jane Holt; and his sister Valerie Holt. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Gayle Holt; his sons, William Jeremy Holt, Jason Kelly Holt and Ira James Holt; his grandchildren, William Kelly Holt and Juliana Rose Holt; and his nephews, Chuck Holt and Johnny Mize.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Merritt Funeral Home (4095 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609). The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
