He is survived by: his wife Ruth Petee; his daughters, Kristen Brinkerhoff (Ronnie), Lisa Benson (Bill) and Karen Bleichner (Steve); his daughter-in-law Carrie; his grandchildren, Kristen Few (Steve), Hannah, Jacquelyn, Emily, Sophia, Leelu and Thomas; and his great grandchild Willamae.
Richard was an active member of a committee for the Make a Wish Foundation, and he humbly gave back to his community by volunteering for hospices.
