She was predeceased by: her father Jose Antonio; and her husband Peter. She is survived by: her children, Nestor (Michelle), Leonardo (Saralyn), Nancy Matherson and Steven (Erin); her brother Luis Antonio Benitez; and her grandchildren, Mireya (Seth), Ariana (Jon), Alicia (Shane), Jordan, Trevor (Heidi), Gabriel, Lola and Isabella. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
