He is survived by: his wife Mickey Contegiacomo (Madeline); and his children, Darrell Hughes, Michelle Bonczek (Joseph Bonczek), Anthony Contegiacomo (Miranda Contegiacomo), Karen Ozyjowski, Brooklyn Howard and Eli Howard. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 sister-in-laws, and 3 brother-in-laws.
