He was predeceased by: his parents, John Breida and Dorothy Breida; and his wife Terri Breida. He is survived by: his nephew Stephen John Pirritano; his sons, Matthew Breida and Joshua Breida; his sisters, Diana Pirritano (Stephen), Jane Rehr, Mary Breida (James McCallum) and Margaret Breida; his grandchildren, Octavious and Sissy Breida; his nieces and nephews, Marissa Pirritano, Evelyn Vitale (Larry), Fran McCole, Alden Manka and Miranda Manka; his mother-in-law Constance Brynan; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Brynan (Deborah), Patti DiMario (Anthony) and Pamela Wood (Charles).
