He was predeceased by: his parents, Idicula Koshy and Annamma Koshy; and his siblings, George, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ammu, Alexander and Molamma.

He is survived by: his wife Dr. Agnes Joseph Idicula; his siblings, Thomas (Rachel) and Mrs Sosa Mathews; his siblings-in-law, Mathew and Dr. Anne Idiculla; his daughter Anita Erler (Dan); and his grandchildren, Anjolie Laubach (Jacob), Elizabeth, Andrew, Katherine, Isabella, Madeleine, Genevieve and Alexander.
