He was predeceased by: his parents, Micheal Sopko and Susan Sopko (Rusin); his wife Janet (Reinhart); and his brother Micheal Sopko. He is survived by: his children, John J. Sopko (Catherine) and Jil Alexander (John); his grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer Sopko and John A. Sopko; and his great grandchild Paisley Hillyard.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the HPH Hospice in Hernando County.
