He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Doris Mae Milligan Markin; his son Brian Allen; and his brothers, Wayne Lee and David Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Dutro Markin (Judy); his daughters, Lisa Scrivener (Steve) and Amy Ryan (Tim); and his daughter-in-law Brenda Markin (Rule). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews.
