He is survived by: his wife Deborah Swanson; his son Gerald (Tana); his stepson D. J. (Michelle); his daughter Christine (Nestor); and his stepdaughter Dena (Phil). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care Centers.
