Elizabeth Cierpka Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Cierpka 92 of Spring Hill Florida unexpectedly passed away on June 29, 2022. Betty was born in Cambuslang, Scotland on November 15, 1929. She married Leon F. Cierpka (former member of the Polish Navy and twice holder of the Cross of Valor) on January 31, 1952. She and her husband moved New Jersey in 1953 and retired to Spring Hill, Florida in 1988.

Upon retirement Betty volunteered at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida where she eventually became the Parish secretary. She was a member of the Vincent St. de Paul Society where she was instrumental in implementing the patient assistance program for free medications. She loved her family, work at the Church, as well as her volunteer work St. Vincent de Paul. She was an avid reader and had a passion for her family, God and History.

She is survived and greatly missed by her two children Leo Cierpka and Lisa Cierpka of Spring Hill, Florida.

A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Spring Hill, Florida.
