He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stanley and Louise Varga (Stanley); his niece Pamela Higginbotham; and his nephews, David and James Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Stanley and Susan March (Shawn March); his grandchildren, Ella and Andrew Stanley; his sister Patricia Rewis; and his niece Jennifer Collins (Art Collins).
In keeping with his wishes for a better environment for future generations, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trees for the Future.
