She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. Merola; her parents, Augustine DeMatteo and Josephine Apicelli DeMatteo; her daughter Angel; and her sisters, Hope Reitz and Eufemia Smith (Effie).
She is survived by: her children, Hope M. Dacey (Kevin), Dyan Merola, Joseph E. Merola, Jr. (Sandra), Guy A. Merola (Jaimie Carotenuto) and Kai A. Merola (Britney Farley); her grandchildren, Danielle R. Hotchkiss (Cameron), Brian J. Dacey (Erin Duffy), Joseph A. Merola and Jamie L. Merola; and her sister Angelina Lenzi. She is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
