It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Lenarde Fort Sr. (Spring Hill, Florida), who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gilbert Fort and Gloria Barbara James; his brothers, Raymond Fort and Reginald Wells; and his children, Lakita Foster and Andre Fort.

He is survived by: his wife Lorretta Fort; his children, Dewey L. Fort Jr., Senita Fort, Angela Thompson, Teana Patton and Leon Harrow; his siblings, Melodi Fort, Sherron James, Roger Macon and Orville Baker; and his grandchildren, Andre, Antonio and Rose Fort. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and other close relatives and friends.
