She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Thomas and Lillian L. Thomas (Davis); and her sister Betty Lucille. She is survived by: her husband Charles Walker; her daughter Conici Blount; her stepchildren, Karen Johnson-Robinson (Mark) and David Walker (Julia); her sister Ella Elaine Halchak (Paul); her niece Wenonah Riegel (Seth); and her great-niece Sarah Hashagen (William). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
