He was predeceased by: his sister Joan Derfler; his brother-in-law Arthur Herr, Jr.; his birth parents, Pearl Staley Dearolf and Albert Williams Collins; his adoptive parents, Pearl Dearolf and Richard; and his brothers, Harry Dearolf, Richard L. Dearolf Jr., Claude Dearolf, Tom Dearolf and Bob Dearolf.
He is survived by: his sister Bella Dearolf Campbell; his wife Mimi (Herr); his daughter Donna; his grandchildren, Patrick (Laura) and Natalie (Evan); and his great grandchildren, Luca Alfie and Henry.
