She was predeceased by: her mother Cora Butcher Porter; her husband Mart Messer Jr.; her sons, James Willie and Bobby Messer; her granddaughter Leah Messer; and her sister Martha Bryant.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Messer (Ellen) of Fort Gay, WV; her grandchildren, LaDonna Tomblin (Buster) of Dingess, Don Mart Messer (Jennifer) of Sparr, FL, Constance Messer of Morehead, KY, Rhonda Munro (Chi Chi) and Angelena Messer of Sparr, FL; her sister Mary Ann Collins of Madison, OH; her daughter-in-law Margaret Messer of Sparr, FL; her great grandchildren, Brayden Mosley, Braelynn Messer, Addison Messer (Tanieca), Allison Messer (Derek), Sevyn Munro, Jackson Bryan, Cody Padgett, Jame and Jeremy Messer; and her great great grandchildren, Khloe, Lillie, Matthew, Bentley and Brynleigh. She is also survived by one great great grandchild on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
