He was predeceased by: his parents, Eaden J. Lawton, Jr. and Olivette Floyd; and his daughter Shaka Joetta Lawton. He is survived by: his wife Delois Lawton; his children, Gregory Lawton, Jr. (Nechole), Edward Jones, Meltonia Clark and CaRhonda Jones; his sisters, Carolyn Graham (Eugene, Sr), Gwendolyn Scott, Sakeena Jackson, Cassandra Boston (Gregory), Andrea Brooks and Sirlestree Lawton; his uncle Raymond Tanner; and his aunts, Eartha Hill, Elmira Clark, Liz Bagley and Paula Holloway (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
