He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bennie Lee and Annie Mae Thomas Sr. Sonny; his children, Ann Marie Thomas of Rochester, NY, Tammie of Reddick, FL, Benny Lee "Benji" III of Sparr, FL, Terri Lynn Robertson of Reddick, FL, Trevor and Russell Thomas of Ocala, FL; his sisters, Gloria Collie, Patricia Ellis of Flemington, FL, Elois Ann Aaron of Marietta, GA, Debra Thomas of Tallahassee, FL and Wanda Green of Knoxville, TN; his aunt Martha Henderson of New Haven, CT; his niece Adrienne Thomas; and his close friend Bob Mitchell. He was also cherished by twenty-four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Due to present COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required during visitation and service.
