He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Casterton Sr. and Barbara McIlvain Casterton; and his siblings, John "Bill" Casterton and Judith Casterton. He is survived by: his wife Marilynne Casterton; his children, Jeff Casterton, Cheryl Casterton Hoyle, Linda Brown, Richard Brown, Bradley Brown, Shelli Odom, Joseph Brown and Jaylynne Casterton Smith; and his sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Casterton Crow. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
