Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Monica Faye Edwards of Southwest Ranches, Florida, who passed away at the age of 79, on January 14, 2023. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Peter Weiland and Marian Weiland; and her sister Veronica Merrill. She is survived by: her son Ty Edwards; her daughter-in-law Alison Ekizian; her granddaughter Eve Edwards; her daughter Tawanna Edwards; her son-in-law Martin Ross; her daughter Turcessa Haigney; her granddaughter Samantha Haigney; and her sister Madonna Koenekamp.

Some of Monica's favorite charities were the Wounded Warrior Project, Boys Town, Salesian Missions and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
