Helen Katchis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2023, at the age of 82, Helen Katchis of South Miami, Florida, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred St. John and Virginia Webster St. John; her adoptive son Christopher; her husband Lou (Lou); her son Christopher Zanyk (Jessica); her stepdaughters, Cindy Allen (David) and Wendy Ackerman (Scott); her grandchildren, Jake Zanyk, Zack Zanyk, Amanda Kleyla (Maikel) and Krista Kleyla; her nieces, Toni White and Deborah White; her nephew Bob White; and her siblings, Charles Pribonic, Pete Pribonic (Sue), Susan Pribonic (Dan) and Lisa Pribonic.
After many years with the debilitating illness, she had some heart problems which were corrected, but Parkinson's started her having falling problems and she ended up breaking both hips and then got pneumonia and Covid while in rehab.
