He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Adams and Patricia Adams; his grandson Joshua Armstrong; and his daughter Barbara Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Susan Adams (Sue); his children, John Adams (Shari), Pamela Hayes (David) and Joseph Adams (Amanda); his brothers, Thomas Adams and Ronald Adams (Gloria); his son-in-law John Armstrong III; his mother-in-law Virginia Lee; and his grandchildren, John Armstrong IV (Heather), Caitlin Armstrong (Justin), Ashley Taylor (Will), Amber Adams, Brooke Armstrong, David Hayes, Isabella Adams and Lila Adams. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
