She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Allen; and her brother Stanley Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Melody McBeth (Sam) of Scotland, PA, Paul Allen of South Daytona and Donald Allen of Hopewell, VA; her grandchildren, Sean McBeth (Michelle), Tammy Armstrong (Michael) of Christopher and Tessa Allen (Elizabeth Lutje); her siblings, Roberta "Bobbi" Crawford of Concord, NC, Gary Schmidt (Rita) of McGraw, NY and Greg Schmidt of McGraw, NY; and her half-brothers, Tim and Brian Schmidt. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
She was a gifted baker, avid crafter, and determined crossword enthusiast until Alzheimer's made those pursuits impossible.
