It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Gip McCranie of South Daytona, Florida, born in Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Karen McCranie; his daughter Camille Young; his son-in-law Roger Young; his daughter Renee Cobb; his son-in-law Brian Cobb; his grandchildren, Dean Cobb and Bella Cobb; his siblings, Mary Green, Susan Cravan, Thelma Bronson, Pat Schubert, Phillip Day, Wayne Penninger and Paul Penninger; his sister-in-law June Beer; and his niece Allison Godwin.
