She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Holmes and Gordon Holmes. She is survived by: her husband Rufus James Burns; her children, Gordon Burns of Ormond Beach, James Burns of Ormond Beach and Alicia Hutchinson of South Daytona; and her brother David Holmes of New Baltimore, MI. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
