It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Cook of South Daytona, Florida, born in Deland, Florida, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy S. Cook and Rosa E. Cook (Willis); her siblings, Vivian McDonald (Carlton), Miriam Cook, Deborah Cook and James Cook, Sr.; her daughter Nekiesha Quinn; her siblings, Wayne Cook, Stanley Cook (Rosetta) and Valerie Rhodes (Ricky) of Sylvania, GA; her sister-in-law Belinda Cook; her daughter Vonetta Cook (Kevin); her niece Sylvia Cook; and her goddaughter Cornethia Forman (Terrance). She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines (including required masks) a limited, socially-distanced visitation of family and friends will be from 5-7 p. m., on Friday, July 10 at Victory Worship Center, 1022 Huntington Road, Crescent City.
She subsequently united with True Foundation Ministries of Crescent City, serving on the Street Outreach team and with the Prison Ministries.
