She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Childers; and her sister Patricia Hill. She is survived by: her husband Billy Carter; her children, Jeramy Johnson, Shauna Neuman (Joseph), Brandon Saunders, Steven Carter (Kelly) and Stephanie Cobb (Brian); her sisters, Margaret Dunlow (Tony) and Tammy Ferguson (Ronny); her grandchildren, Shyann Johnson, Lillie Johnson, Dmitrius Johnson, Malachi Johnson (Elizabeth), Micah Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Riley Saunders, Hayley Saunders, Colton Saunders, Jace Saunders, Audrey Occean (Warner), Brittany Dalenburg (Samuel), Allison Carter, Blake Carter, Logan Cobb and Raymond Cobb; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Johnson, Gracelynn Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Tate Johnson and Kai Occean.
She struggled with health issues the last couple of years; in the end, she had covid and pneumonia that ultimately caused her passing.
