He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Montgomery and Irene Montgomery; and his siblings, Mildred Young, Howell Montgomery and Sanford Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Montgomery (Baxley); and his children, Hinton Montgomery (Vikki), Marjorie Bryson, Charlie Montgomery (Lizsa), Wendy Montgomery (Robert) and Amie Maxwell (Neil). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
