He is survived by: his wife Margret Merritt; his children, Randy Merritt (Shannon), Dina Gunter (Chris), Ron Merritt (Sonja), Robert Cox, Ricky Cox and Renina Parker (Roy); and his siblings, Jerry Merritt (Anita), Gilbert Merritt (Sandy) and Kathy Jensen (Joel). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
